Did the Leftards really believe the enhanced interrogation techniques commission was going to amount to anything they could use politically? The outcomes were pretty much predetermined by the known facts:
-Democrats had approved of EITs in the past
-Leftards disapprove of EITs for no other reason than that they are an effective way of stopping attacks against America, and Leftards believe that America's enemies deserve a leg-up on the military and CIA
-Conservatives think that EITs are perfectly fine (but maybe not tough enough, or used often enough)
-The only people in the Bush Administration that could be connected to EITs were Bush, Cheney, and a couple of lawyers that no one honestly give a rat's ass about
-Another attack on US soil will make more, not fewer, Americans desire that more, not fewer EITs be used on more, not fewer, terrorist
What exactly did the Dems really think they could get political advantage on?
