The NAACP is going to vote on (and will of course pass with a huge majority) a resolution proclaiming the Tea Party movement "racist".
We conservatives and supporters of the Tea Party movement, should rejoice in such a resolution. One of the reasons that conservatives across America have not translated their superior numbers into electoral victories is that they don't have the deep-seated anger that animates every single leftist. That anger gets movement, gets energy, gets votes, and begets victories at the ballot box. It was the single most important factor in the Democratic party victories in Congress in 2006, and Obama's victory in 2008. It's not in character for an American conservative to be angry all the time like Leftists are. Hell, even today, under the most socialist administration in American history, conservatives in America are better off than anyone else; conservative, liberal, Leftist, communist, whatever, anywhere else in the world.
But there is a way to get conservatives angry. And it is by smearing all Tea Party movement supporters as racist. The NAACP may be hoping to salvage whatever they can from the disaster that is the Obama presidency. And they may think that the way to do that is to hope that some Independents will be turned off by the Tea Party movement if they believe it to be racist. The only problem with that effort is that most Independents (and conservatives for that matter) understand that for the NAACP and for the Obama supporters, the only thing they think of, all day, and under all circumstances, is race and racism. The old adage is that when all you own is a hammer, everything looks like a nail to you. And when all the NAACP has for a hammer is racism, then everyone looks like a racist to them.
But the American people know what's in their heart. And being called a racist when one is not a racist, is going to get that anger going. Especially in those voters who Obama and Democrats need the most; Independents. If an Independent that voted for Obama is looking towards the Tea Party movement to express their feelings of limited government, support for capitalism and low taxes. then they are not going to take lightly being called a racist. They are going to be angry. And they will take that anger into the voting booth with them in 2010 and 2012.
We conservatives should all be thankful that the NAACP, the MSM, the New Black Panther Party, and everyone else that has only a hammer to hit us with, are hitting us daily as racists. The time for us to demand it stop is coming soon.
