I came across this picture I took when I was driving from Jeddah to Riyadh. Because Jeddah is the gateway for muslims coming in for the hajj, there is a regular highway from Jeddah to Makkah (Mecca) and Medina. If you are a non-muslim, you can be put to death if you happen to end up in Makkah.
So on the highway, where the road splits, the Saudi government has a reminder that all non-muslims have to exit and continue on the highway towards Taif and Riyadh.
Wanting to keep my head on my shoulders, I turned right, like the sign suggested.
